Defining O/R Mapping

When you generate an OOM from a PDM or a PDM from an OOM, the default O/R mapping can be generated and saved in the OOM. You can also manually define complex O/R mapping. The following screenshot shows the Attributes Mapping of class Customer. It is generated from the PDM.

For O/R mapping, PowerAMC supports:

• Mapping of a class to one or several tables or views
• Mapping of an attribute to a column or an expression
• Select, insert, update and delete queries for a class
• Query for an operation
• Mapping of an association to a table or a reference
• Select, insert and delete queries for an association
• Stored-procedures

The syntax of SQL queries and stored-procedures may vary depending on the application server.

For EAServer, PowerAMC generates EAServer specific SQL statements.
