Editing RepConnector Connection Properties

Edit any of the properties of a RepConnector connection using the Properties editor. You can also rename the connection.

To edit RepConnector connection properties:

  1. Open RepConnector Manager view. Select Windows|Show View|Other... and then select Sybase and click OK.

  2. Edit connection properties. Right-click the connection you want to edit, and select Properties from the context menu.

    The Properties editor opens.

  3. Choose from the following:

    • Restore default properties. Click Restore Defaults.

    • Edit any of the existing properties, and then click Apply.

      Properties for <Connection Name>

      FieldDescription

      Inbound Type

      Select Replication.

      Outbound Type

      Select JMS.

      DBEventStream XSD URL

      Enter the URL address that RepConnector uses to receive database events.

      Log Level

      Select a level of logging. Choose from the following:

      • Fatal: Logs only fatal errors.

      • Error: Logs errors.

      • Warning: Logs warnings and errors.

      • Info: Logs general information, warnings, and errors.

      • Debug: Logs all information.

      Auto Start Connect

      Select this option to start the RepConnector at the time of EAServer startup.

      Customized Plug-in Class

      Select this option to use a user-defined message formatter for a customized plugin class.

  4. Click OK.

    Changes are applied to the RepConnector connection.
