If you installed Sybase WorkSpace and the Sybase Developer Edition Servers on the same machine, you can start and stop the servers using the External Tools feature in the main menu bar.
The Adaptive Server Enterprise server only appears on the menu if you installed ASE before Sybase WorkSpace.
To run external tools:
Select Run|External Tools|<server type>. Choose from the following:

Adaptive Server Anywhere 9.0 | Start the ASA developer edition server. NoteTo stop ASA, double-click the ASA icon located in the Icon Tray and then click Shutdown. |
EAServer 5.3 Manager | Open EAServer Manager. |
EAServer 5.3 Server | Start or stop EAServer developer edition server. |
Unwired Accelerator 8.0 (Tomcat) | Start or stop the Unwired Accelerator developer edition server running on Apache Tomcat. This is the default server. |
Unwired Orchestrator 5.1 | Start or stop the Unwired Orchestrator developer edition server. |
