You can create, manage, or run servers using the External Tools feature in the main menu bar. Your menu selection is dependent on the number of servers you chose to install. Additionally, if you chose to install Adaptive Server Enterprise after you installed Sybase WorkSpace, start and stop options for this server do not appear as selections on the External Tools menu.
To manage the servers:
Select Run|External Tools|External Tools from the main menu bar.
In the External Tools dialog, choose from the following, then click Apply to save your changes:
Add or delete servers from the selection list.
Use the Main tab to define the location, working directory, and arguments for a new server or redefine them for an existing server.
Use the Refresh tab to specify the resource refresh requirments for the selected server.
Use the Environment tab to define enviroment variables for the selected server.
Use the Common tab to specify file requirements, menu display, console encoding, input/output, launch requirements for the selected server.
To restore the default settings, click Revert.
