Managing Adaptive Server Anywhere Using Database Scripts

Unwired Orchestrator provides a series of database scripts for managing the ASA database. When you run ASA as a standalone application, use the following scripts to start and stop the database on Windows or UNIX platforms.

Windows Scripts

Starts the database server on Windows.

<installation directory>\Orch-5_1\asa\stopUO50Runtime_asa.bat

Stops the database server on Windows.

<installation directory>\Orch-5_1\asa\jisql.bat

Provides a utility to query the ASA database.

UNIX Scripts

Starts the database server on UNIX.

<installation directory>/Orch-5_1/asa/stopUO50Runtime_asa.sh

Stops the database server on UNIX.

Provides a command line utility to query the ASA database.
