Defining Status Icons and Display Colors in SetType Views

(Optional) The New View Definition wizard allows you to define icons and colors for each status displayed in the Monitor Console.

Note

If you plan to use custom set of image files for your status icons, copy the custom image files to the \EAServer directory before you define status properties.

Status Color

Select the status in the Defined Statuses list and apply a color to the status:

  1. Click Color and do one of the following:

    • Choose a default color from the Basic Colors options.

    • Click Define Custom Colors. Move your cursor along the color spectrum to define the custom color, slide the arrow along the color bar to adjust the hue, and click Add to Custom Colors to save the color definition.

  2. Click OK to apply the color to your Status definition.

  3. Click Reset to clear the color definition.

  4. Repeat these steps until colors have been applied to all status definitions.

Status Image

Select the status in the Defined Statuses list and apply an icon to the status:

  1. Click Image.

    The Choose a Status Image window opens displaying the default set of image files.

  2. Choose from the following:

    • Select an image from the default set of files.

    • Browse the \EAServer directory for a custom image file.

  3. Click Open.

    The applied image and its file name appear in the Defined Statuses section.

  4. Repeat these steps until images are applied to all status definitions.

Click Finish to complete the view definition and exit the wizard.
