Default Numeric Properties

In the Numeric page, set up the initial properties assigned to any new fields when you set the field's Data Type property to one of the following types:

You can set default properties for a single message definition in the New Message Definition wizard when you create a new message definition, and you can also set workspace-wide defaults for any new Message Designer projects by selecting Windows|Preferences|Sybase, Inc.|Message Designer|Message Defaults.

At design-time, when you create a message definition, the field inherits the default properties you selected.
