Before you create any message definitions, create at least one Message Designer Project folder. Alternately, you can store message definitions in a regular Sybase Project folder, but the Sybase Project folder is automatically modified with a set of resources to accomodate the message definition.
Choose from the following:
In the WorkSpace Navigator, right-click, select New|Project|Sybase|Message Designer Project, then click Next.
The New Message Designer Project wizard appears.
From the menu bar, select File|New|Project|Sybase|Message Designer Project. and click Next.
In the toolbar, click New. Select Sybase|Message Designer Project and click Next.
In the Identify the Name and Default Contents for this Project page, enter the following information.
Identify the Name and Default Contents for this Project
Field | Description |
---|---|
Project Name | Enter a short, descriptive label for the project. For example, MD01. Do not use commas. For more information, see Troubleshooting Message Definition Objects. |
