Importing Unwired Orchestrator Log Files

To view an Unwired Orchestrator log file in Sybase WorkSpace, you must first import the file. To import an Unwired Orchestrator log file, use the following procedure.

From the main menu bar, select File | Import.
Select Log File from the import selection window, and click Next.
In the Import Log File wizard, click Add.

In the Add Log File wizard, provide the following information:

Field	Example
Log types	Select Sybase Unwired Orchestrator Log from the list. You can filter the displayed list of log types by entering a text-matching pattern in the Filter text field. Previously entered text patterns are stored in the drop-down list for this field. Click Show categories to filter the displayed list of log types by category.
Log details	This field consists of four tabs: Host name – Select the host of the specified log file. Use Add and Remove to add or remove a host from the list. The host and port are specified in the Host name or IP address and Agent Controller port fields, respectively. Use Test Connection to verify that a connection can be made to the specified host. Details – Use Browse to specify the path to the selected log file. If necessary, select a log file version from the Supported Versions drop-down. Destination – Use Browse to specify the project and monitor to which the specified log file will be imported. To merge the log data for the specified file with an existing log file, select Merge the log file with an existing log file, and select the target log file. Filter – Select a filter, if any, from the menu drop-down to be used in the import. To create a new filter, select New.

A new entry appears in the Selected log files grid in the Import Log File wizard. Click Finish to import the log file.
Click Yes if you are prompted to switch to the Profiling and Logging perspective. The content of your imported log file appears in the Log View component of the Profiling and Logging perspective.
