Modifying the Tool Palette

In addition to the built-in transformation functions available in the Tool Palette, you can write your own extension functions and add them to your own section in the Tool Palette.

Write user-defined extension classes.
Add user-defined extension function JARs.
Edit the expressions.xml file so the Tool Palette recognizes the new functions.

After you restart Sybase WorkSpace, you can access your new functions in the Tool Palette.
