You can implement user-defined extension functions when you develop a transformation service. The JARs can come from a WorkSpace project (Add JARs) or from the file system (Add External JARs).
Select Window|Preferences from the main menu bar.
Expand Sybase, Inc in the left pane.
Expand Services.
Select Transformation Editor.
The Transformation Editor dialog appears in the right pane.
Select the User-Defined Extensions tab in the right pane.

Add JARs | Lets you browse and select one or more JARs from a project in your workspace. |
Add External JARs | Lets you browse and select one or more JARs from the file system. |
