Use the New Service wizard to create a business process service.
To create a business process service:
In the Service Development perspective, select File|New|Service from the main menu bar.
For alternate ways to access the New Service wizard, see Wizards.
Select Business Process Service and click Next.
Select the project that will use this service.
Enter a unique, descriptive name for the service in the File name field.
Click Next.
The Service Summary page displays the information collected from previous wizard pages.
In the Service Information pane, complete the following:

Name | Edit the file name. The wizard automatically enters the same name as the service file in your project. It is recommended that you keep the names consistent for easy reference in the future. NoteSybase WorkSpace does not support the use of the # character in a service file name and the name must not exceed 54 characters. |
Category | Enter a new category, or select an existing category from the drop-down list. If you plan to create multiple services, it is recommended that you group services into meaningful categories. |
Description | Enter an internal description, such as an explanation of how and where this service is used. You can also add notes for other developers who may be implement this service. |
Click Finish.
The service file appears in the WorkSpace Navigator and the Business Process Service editor opens. Use the editor to build the business process.
