A business process service enables the orchestration of activities and other services. The data flowing through a business process can be enriched and transformed, and business rules can be applied to control the sequencing and distribution of business data. A business process service can be consumed within clients or incorporated into other composite services resulting in a powerful network of reusable services. Additionally, you can extend a business process service with alert messaging, business activity monitoring, database event management, and the use of custom wire formats.
You can also import a business process service model from Sybase PowerDesigner and then edit the service interface using Sybase WorkSpace.
