Creating Domino Elements

If you configured Unwired Accelerator to work with Domino, then you can create Domino elements to use in your mobile application.

From the Mobile Development perspective, select File|New|Mobile Application.
When the New Mobile Application Element wizard opens, select Launch Element Wizard, then select Domino from the Element Type drop-down list, and click Finish.
The New Mobile Application Element wizard opens.

Define the following:

Connection Cache	Select a server from the drop-down list.
Domino URL	Select this option and expand the Domino URL Parameters category to define parameters for the Domino server. The configured connection type dictates the parameters for the Domino Server. For the nrpc connection type, enter the following:. Then, enter the following: Server Database path User ID file Password

Type	Click Search to populate the View, Domino Agent and Field names from view combinations, and define the following: View – select a view from the drop-down list. Domino Agent – select a Domino agent from the drop-down list then select from the following parameter types: Field names from View – passes the field names from the view directly to the postprocessor agent. Input Parameters – run the stand alone agent with or without input parameters. Select this if you want to specify custom parameters. Enter values as name value pair.; for example, param1=value1,param2=value2 and so forth.

(Optional) Click Next to define Rules for the Domino Element. See Using Rules and Record Layout.
Click Finish to complete the Domino Element definition and exit the wizard.
