A resource is a portal for which you define users and applications. You can use the mobile administration feature to create additional resources with different logos, icons, text, colors, languages, and navigation styles. Multiple resources allow you to create different looks for different audiences. For example, you might want to use different languages for different audiences, or use a different look and navigation style for desktop and mobile device interfaces.
Use the Mobile Administration view to add, edit and delete resources. To create additional resources, repeat these steps for each resource you want to create. Each step references a procedure that gives detailed instructions.
To create resources:
In the Mobile Administration view, select New|New Resource from the local toolbar.
Use the Create a New Resource dialog box to add a new resource. This step must be done by a user with the StudioAdmin role.
Create a directory for the new resource and edit the UA cobrands.xml file.
If you are using EAServer, the file is located in %SYBASE%\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\EAServer\Repository\WebApplication\onepage\config.
If you are using Tomcat the file is located in %SYBASE%\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\UA\tomcat\tomcat\webapps\onepage\config.
Copy resource-specific files to the new resource directory.
Edit the resource-specific file to fit the new resource.
Implement the resource by completing portal setup. See "Implementing Resources in Chapter 4, of the Unwired Accelerator Administration Guide.
