Use the Mobile Administration view to add new resources.
To add resources:
Select Window|Show View|Mobile Administration to open the Mobile Administration view.
To access the Create a New Resource dialog box, do one of the following:
Click the arrow in the Mobile Administration view local toolbar to display the pull-down menu and select New|New Resource.
Right-click the Resources folder and select New Resource.
Specify the following information:
Create a New Resource
Field | Description |
---|---|
Resource Name | Enter a name for the new resource. |
Active | Indicates whether you have created the cobrands directory and modified the cobrands.xml file with the new resource. Active is the default, although the RID that is required to modify the cobrands.xml file is not actually generated until you finish adding the resource. |
Portal Setup Complete | Select this option only after you have completed the other steps necessary to activate the portal associated with this resource (that is, after you have updated cobrands.xml, copied configuration files to the resource directory, and so on). |
Description | Enter a description for the resource. This is optional. |
Additional Information | This field is predefined and, therefore, cannot be edited. |
Click OK.
