Administration

You can use the Mobile Administration and MobiLink profile views to perform a variety of administrative tasks.

The Mobile Administration profile view allows you to add and manage users, roles, and resources to the UA server.

The MobiLink profile view allows you to deploy your mobile applications to a mobile device.

If you have the M-Business server installed, you can access the M-Business profile view, which provides menu access to M-Business Anywhere functionality. Using the M-Business view, you can create and manage users, groups, and channels.

Note

You must install the M-Business server separately and enable the M-Business property in the global.properties.xml file before you can access the M-Business profile view.

To access the Mobile Administration profile view:

  1. Open Enterprise Explorer.

  2. Create an Unwired Accelerator connection profile.

  3. Connect to the Mobile Administration profile view. In the Enterprise Explorer, right-click Mobile Administration, and select Connect from the context menu.

    If your connection is successful, Mobile Administration expands in the Enterprise Explorer and displays resources, roles, and users.
