The following commands return information about your operating system.
The uname -sr operating system command shows the level of your base system software:
% uname -sr
The command returns the following result:
HP-UX B.11.23
To list individual patches installed on your system, log in as “root” superuser and issue the following operating system command:
% /usr/sbin/swlist -l product | grep PH
To list the currently installed patch bundle with month, year, and version number, issue the following operating system command:
% /usr/sbin/swlist -l bundle
