Defines the number of kilobytes (KB) to write to each dbspace before the disk striping algorithm moves to the next stripe for the IQ Main Store.

Can be set only for the PUBLIC group. DBA authority is required to set the option. Takes effect at the next checkpoint.

This option lets you control the number of kilobytes written to each dbspace before the IQ disk striping algorithm moves to the next stripe for the IQ Main Store. The corresponding number of blocks is rounded up to a page boundary, so the actual amount written to each stripe may be slightly larger than requested. You can tune this option by measuring the time required to complete I/O intensive updates and adjusting the option value accordingly.
