You can manually create accounts for LDAP-authorized users and assign permissions for them, so that everything is in place for them
before they connect for the first time
If LDAP-authenticated users have already connected to the repository, then they will have automatically created
accounts that you can assign directly to groups (see Inserting a User into a Group).

Select to open the List of Users.

Click the Add a row tool, and type an appropriate name for the user in the Full Name column.

Enter the user's LDAP login in the Login Name field, and select the checkbox in the X column to specify that he is an externally-validated user.

Click the Properties tool to open the property sheet of the user and then click the Groups tab to add him to any appropriate groups (see Inserting a User into a Group).
