In a multi-CPU system, you can enhance the performance of the RAPCache database by configuring it to run with multiple engines.
Each engine is a single operating system process that yields high performance when there is one engine configured per CPU. The RAPCache database parameters related to engine configuration are max online engines and number of engines at startup.
