Before you install RAP, identify and apply operating system patches.
Refer to RAP – The Trading Edition Release Bulletin for information on operating
system levels and required operating system patches.

Apply required patches.
Do not use a patch that is earlier than the version
suggested for your operating system. Use the patch recommended by
the operating system vendor, even if it supersedes the patch listed
in the Release Bulletin.
