Installing RAP - The Trading Edition

The installation and configuration procedures for RAP core components apply to both UNIX and Linux platforms, except where noted.

To run the graphical RAP installer directly on a UNIX system, that machine must be running X-Windows. If X-Windows is not available, use the command-line installation.

• Installing with the Demo Installer
  Run a demo installation from the RAP Product DVD.
• Installing with the RAP Installer
  Install RAP from the RAP product DVD or download using the graphical interface.
• Installing from the Command Line
  Install RAP in console mode from the RAP product DVD or download.
