Verifying RAPCache Database Data

Verify the count number in the RAPCache Database.

To verify the count number in the RAPCache Database:

  1. Go to <RAP_R2_Installdir>/RAPCache.
  2. Source SYBASE.sh.
  3. Change to the directory ASE-15_0/install.
  4. Start the RAPCache server if it is not currently running: ./startserver -f RUN_RAPCache &. If you used a different name for the RAPCache server, execute RUN_<servername>. Only do this if your server is not currently running.
  5. Log in to your RAPCache server.
  6. Go to the model database.
  7. Run the SQL command select count(*) from CURRENCY. You will refer to this number when you verify the update of the RAPCache Database with data preserved.
