Premigration Tasks

Premigration involves performing specific tasks and collecting specific information before migrating RAP.

• The RMI port for each component before running the migration installer.
• The port for the RAPStore server you are updating.
• The Display Name (optional entry) and Administration port for the Subscribers and Publishers.

• RMI Ports
  Identify the RMI port for each component before running the migration installer.
• RAPStore Database Server
  Identify the port of the RAPStore database server you are migrating.
• Subscribers and Publishers
  Identify the display names and administration ports for the Subscribers and Publishers.
• Verifying RAPCache Database Data
  Verify the count number in the RAPCache Database.
• Verifying RAPStore Database Data
  Verify the count number in the RAPStore Database.
