Opening the Sample Project

Open the sample model from the sample project.

Prerequisites
Install the sample model.
Task
  1. Choose Start > Programs > Sybase > PowerDesigner 15 > PowerDesigner.
  2. In the Welcome dialog, under Getting started, choose Open Model or Project.
    If you are not a first-time user, you may see different options in the Welcome dialog, based on your previous work in PowerDesigner.
  3. Browse to the sample project, by default in C:\Program Files\Sybase\PowerDesigner 15\Examples\RAP\RAP.prj, and choose Open.

    PowerDesigner opens a workspace for the RAP sample project.

  4. Double-click the RAP project (briefcase project icon).
    The sample project opens with the sample RAP Messages, RAPCache, and RAPStore models in the Browser view.
