The RAP Messages model represents market data in a logical data model (LDM) independent of any data store.
The RAP Messages model represents the RAP data stream (RDS) templates used by RAP publishers to build messages, and by subscribers to parse messages and store them in a database. It allows you to integrate your XML message templates with your physical data models for the two RAP data stores.
The RAP Messages model contains a message definition for each RAP message. The message definitions are contained in the Market Data diagram in the sample RAP Messages model. Adding a RAP message to the diagram is optional.
