Reloading the Small Sample Data Set into RAPCache

Use the script load_unix_cache_TAQ_tables.sh to reload the smaller TAQ sample data set into RAPCache.

To reload the smaller set of TAQ sample data into the RAPCache:

  1. Change directory to $RAP/RAPCache.
  2. Source the environment variables: source SYBASE.csh or . ./SYBASE.sh.
  3. Change directory to $RAP/RAPCache/datamodel/scripts.
  4. Run the script load_unix_cache_TAQ_tables.sh from a command window on the machine that hosts the ASE RAPCache database.

    This script uses the bulk copy utility bcp to load the sample data into the RAPCache rapt and rapq databases. Errors are written to the files STOCK_TRADE.err and STOCK_QUOTE.err.
