Reloading the Sample Data

If you need to reload the smaller set of sample data that is loaded during the RAP installation process, follow these instructions.

You can run scripts to reload the sample data. The small set of data is in .csv files located in the $RAP/RAPCache/data/marketdata/databaseformat directory and the $RAP/RAPStore/data/marketdata/databaseformat directory.

Reloading the Small Sample Data Set into RAPCache
Use the script load_unix_cache_TAQ_tables.sh to reload the smaller TAQ sample data set into RAPCache.
Checking the Status of the Data Loads
To check the status of the data loads, review the log file for Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE). The default location of the ASE log file is $RAP/RAPCache/ASE-15_0_3/install/<servername>.log.
Reloading the Small Sample Data Set into RAPStore
Use the script load_unix_store_TAQ_tables.sh to reload the smaller RAPStore sample data set.
