Working with fixed-length files

After selecting one of the fixed-length file types, you must create the columns and provide the position parameters of each column.

To add columns to the output

Click Open to open the Text Data Sink component window.
Click Insert a New Attribute. You may edit the name of the generated column.

To remove columns from the output

Click the Open button to open the Text Data Sink component window.
Click Remove.
