Running the instmsgs.ebf script

Running the instmsgs.ebf script brings your Adaptive Server messages up to the level of this EBF.

Using isql, run the new instmsgs.ebf script included with this release.

isql -Usa -P<sa password> -S<servername> -n
 -i$SYBASE/$SYBASE_ASE/scripts/instmsgs.ebf  -o<output file>
Where:
  • -P is the password parameter
  • -S is servername parameter

Save the output of this step to an operating system file.
