When the lmgrd daemon starts, it automatically starts up the SYBASE daemon. To verify that the license management software is running on the system, use:
$SYBASE/$SYBASE_SYSAM/bin/lmutil lmstat -c
Make sure that both lmgrd and SYBASE are running before you continue the installation or start Replication Server.
