If the license manager is not running, you must start it manually:
Starting SySAM manually
Source SYBASE.csh.
Go to $SYBASE/SYSAM-1_0/bin and run lmgr.
Mac: If you are using a “headless” Mac without a monitor, specify lmgr -I.
If you have not yet completed the license information in SySAM, follow the instructions in “Registering your first license certificate in SySAM”.
