If you are updating from a previous version of PowerBuilder Enterprise, you must have PowerBuilder Enterprise 9.x.x or PowerBuilder Enterprise 10.x.x installed on your computer.If neither of these products is installed on your computer, the PowerBuilder Enterprise Update setup program prompts you to insert one of the following CDs into your CD-ROM drive for validation before proceeding with the installation:
PowerBuilder Enterprise 9.0 Disk 1
PowerBuilder Enterprise 10.0 Disk 1
After validating the CD, the setup program prompts you to reinsert PowerBuilder Enterprise 10.5 Disk 1 into your CD-ROM drive.
In general, you can run the common setup program to install the products in this set over existing versions of those products, or you can make disk space available by uninstalling older versions before running the setup program.
