The last step to setting up a replication environment is to resume the database connection.
To resume a database connection
Select the non-Sybase database connection from the Sybase Central desktop, right-click it, and select Resume.
On the Resume Connection dialog box, select the appropriate check boxes for the type of connection:
Replicate-only – select the Resume DSI check box.
Primary-only – select the Resume Replication Agent check box.
Bidirectional – select both the Resume DSI and the Resume Replication Agent check boxes.
Choose OK.
The status of the database connection should change in a few moments. If the status does not change, review the Replication Server log for error messages. See Chapter 9, “Troubleshooting Heterogeneous Replication Systems” for more details.
