This is an RSM Server command that recovers a failed route upgrade or route upgrade recovery.
route_upgrade_recovery source_replication_server.dest_replication_server
Is the name of the source Replication Server of the route.
Is the name of the destination Replication Server of the route.
Performs upgrade recovery on route. rep_serv_12.rep_serv_11
route_upgrade rep_serv_12.rep_serv_11
Use this command only when route_upgrade_status shows a route upgrade that needs to be recovered.
Only one route upgrade or recovery request can be submitted at a time.
Before issuing this command, find out why the last route_upgrade or route_upgrade_recovery failed by looking at the RSM Server log, and correct the problem.
When a route_upgrade or route_upgrade_recovery fails, the destination Replication Server may be put in a “hibernation” state, in which most of the user commands are rejected and functions suspended until the route upgrade is successfully recovered.
This command performs both recovery and route upgrade on the specified route. Thus it is not necessary to perform a route upgrade again on the same route once the route upgrade recovery is successful.
Look at the RSM Server log or issue route_upgrade_status to confirm the route upgrade recovery is successful.
route_upgrade_recovery requires administrator permission.
