Chapter 4: Configuring Data Caches

This chapter describes how to create and administer named caches on Adaptive Server.The most common reason for administering data caches is to reconfigure them for performance. This chapter is primarily concerned with the mechanics of working with data caches. Chapter 10, “Memory Use and Performance,” in the Performance and Tuning Guide: Basics discusses performance concepts associated with data caches.
