Runtime Instance Configuration

Adding a new runtime instance to a server creates default configuration parameters that are used at runtime. These parameters specify the basic information that the engine needs to successfully execute business processes that have been deployed to it. This information is modifiable at any time. At deployment time, configuration information that has been modified is updated in the runtime environment.

Many default parameters are automatically assigned when a new runtime instance is created. Modify these as necessary.
