Deliver

Delivery of a package makes the package available to a runtime instance. Typically, a project is designed on a workstation that is not an administration workstation. Therefore, the project is packaged and delivered to a runtime instance on an administration workstation for runtime management.

After the package is delivered to a runtime instance, the agent is involved in copying pertinent information to the runtime instance. Additional configuration is required after a package is delivered.

Prior to delivering a package, create one or more runtime instances to which the package is delivered.

Delivery can be done in one of two ways:

• Deliver a new package

• Update an existing package

With completion of the Deliver phase, move to the Configure phase.
