Configuring Database Event Management

Prerequisites:

• To configure database event management, Unwired Orchestrator with Database Event Management must be licensed and installed and an existing implementation of Replication Server must be available in your environment. Installed with Unwired Orchestrator with Database Event Management, the RepConnector component is configured to listen for database events from Replication Server. RepConnector transforms each database event to an XML document, then uses a message transport to push the events to Unwired Orchestrator.

To configure a business process for handling database events using a Replication Event Service:

1. Create a messaging endpoint or verify that one is available. The messaging endpoint must use an endpoint connection to the queue used to move database event data messages from RepConnector to Unwired Orchestrator. If you are using multiple queues to move database event messages, you must define an endpoint for each of these queues.

2. Define a Replication Event Service using the New Replication Event Service wizard.

3. Add a port for the service.

4. Design the business process using the Design-Time tooling.
