Open portalsearch.properties on the EAServer machines in Microsoft WordPad on Windows and in any text editor on UNIX. portalsearch.properties is located in $SYBASE/EAServer/Repository/WebApplication/search/WEB-INF/classes on UNIX and in %SYBASE%\EAServer\Repository\WebApplication\search\WEB-INF\classes on Windows.
Search the file for EASHOST, EASPORT, ASEHOST, and ASEPORT and replace all instances of the name of the machine on which the Portal Search Autonomy DRE is installed with the name of the machine hosting the Portal Search Autonomy DRE and portalsearchdb.
Save the file and exit the text editor.
Shut down and restart EAServer.
