Once you have assigned weights to children, you can test these weights by running a search using the parent topics to see if the documents you want are selected. If you find that you need to change the weights, you can edit the existing weight assigned to that subtopic or evidence topic. Note that when you edit topic definitions in the topic outline file, you must rebuild the topic set using mktopics.
