This section explains how to uninstall the e-Biz Impact server on Windows and on UNIX.
Uninstalling the e-Biz Impact server on Windows
Move any files that you want to save from the ImpactServer-5_5 directory to another directory.
Remove any services you created with ims55svchost utility using the -remove option.
Select Start | Settings | Control Panel, then select Add/Remove Programs.
When the Add/Remove Programs window opens, select the e-Biz Impact server and click Change/Remove.
When the e-Biz Impact installer opens, follow the instructions until the uninstallation completes.
If you have modified any files since installation, you
receive pop-up windows asking if you want to remove the modified
files. Click Yes to All.
Click Finish when the Uninstall Complete window appears.
Manually delete the remaining ImpactServer-5_5 directory by deleting the root installation directory and all subdirectories and files.
Uninstalling the e-Biz Impact server on UNIX
Move any files that you want to save from the ImpactServer-5_5 directory to another directory.
In a terminal window, set the DISPLAY variable. For example:
$ export DISPLAY=10.20.73.61:0.0
In the same terminal window, go to the e-Biz Impact installation directory, then enter:
cd <install_dir>/ImpactServer-5_5/Uninstall
When the e-Biz Impact installer opens, follow the instructions until the uninstallation completes.
Click Finish when the Uninstall Complete window appears.
Manually delete the remaining ImpactServer-5_5 directory by deleting the root installation directory and all subdirectories and files.
Enter ls -a at the prompt to see
directories preceded by a dot.
