Non-ODBC log files include the transaction log and the trace file. The ODBC log database includes the transaction log, the trace file, and the run ID table. If a non-ODBC log is used, ECRTP places the log files in the same directory where the executable is installed. If an ODBC log is used, the user must specify the DSN (data source name) that points to the log database using the required –sl <DSN> parameter/switch.
