ECRTP uses information stored in files, databases, and memory. The user must know, and provide some of these data locations at runtime. For example, the fully qualified path location of specific data files must be included with certain switches and parameters. Other data locations are known by the program or are not used at runtime. See “Windows runtime parameters/switches” for a detailed explanation.
ECMap has a utility available from both the Run Inbound Map and Run Outbound Map screens that allows the user to create a batch file of switches/parameters that correspond to the choices and entries that have been made. When ECRTP is run, this batch file can be used to provide command line parameters or switches, using the -pf switch.
