The Sybase WorkSpace sample uses the default Unwired Accelerator connection profile, MyMobileServer.
Select Window|Open Perspective|Service Development on the WorkSpace main menu bar.
In the Enterprise Explorer, expand the Mobile Servers folder to locate the MyMobileServer connection profile.
Right-click MyMobileServer and select Ping from the context menu.
When the Ping Succeeded
message
displays, click OK.
If the ping fails, right-click MyMobileServer in the
Enterprise Explorer and select Properties from the context menu
to verify that the values entered for the connection properties
are correct. Verify that the host is the name of your local machine,
that the domain name is correct, and that the port number is
4040
(the
default). If you installed Unwired Accelerator using a port number
other than 4040, change the port number in the MyMobileServer connection
profile to that port number instead.
In the Enterprise Explorer, right-click MyMobileServer and select Connect from the context menu.
The Unwired Accelerator version number appears beside MyMobileServer, indicating the connection was successful.
You have verified the connection profile and connected to the Unwired Accelerator server.
