If you have an Unwired Accelerator version 7.0 installation and install version 8.0 to a different directory, then uninstall version 7.0, you may encounter an error message such as the following when you try to uninstall version 8.0:
Engine is missing (C: mp\vpdUA\Gen1): run installation from source media
When this occurs, enter the following commands and remove the services manually:
mlservice.bat remove uadbservice.bat remove tomcatservice.bat remove UnwiredAcceleratorTomcatServer
This allows you to manually remove the Unwired Accelerator version 8.0 directory safely.
