RepServer Logical Connections

A Replication Server logical connection is a connection perform by the Replication server to the active and standby databases. Replication Server uses logical connections to manage warm standby applications, which maintain two Adaptive Server databases, one of which functions as a standby or backup copy of the other.

PowerDesigner models Replication Server logical connections as standard data connection groups with additional properties. For information about creating and working with data connection groups, see "Data Connection Groups" in the "Building Information Liquidity Diagrams" chapter.
