Form, document, and report properties

Chapter 4 Building Application Layer Diagrams

To open a form, document, or report property sheet and view or edit its properties, double-click its diagram symbol or its Browser entry.

The General Tab contains the following properties:

Property	Description
Name	Specifies the name of the item, which should be clear and meaningful, and should convey the item's purpose to non-technical users.
Code	Specifies the technical name of the object, which is used for generating code or scripts
Comment	Descriptive comment for the object.
Stereotype	Extends the semantics of an object derived from existing objects but specific to your needs.
Category	[report only] Specifies the category of the report. You can choose between: Business Specification Strategic Technical
Technical Type	[report only] Specifies the technical type of the report.
Type	[document and form only] Specifies the type of the document or form.
Version	[document only] Specifies the version number of the document.
Period	[report only] Specifies the frequency with which the report is generated. You can choose between: Daily Weekly Monthly Yearly
Style	[form only] Specifies the style of the form.
