Chapter 4 Building Application Layer Diagrams
An application architecture diagram shows a high-level view of the application architecture, and allows you to identify applications, sub-applications, components, databases, services, etc, and their interactions.
In this example, interactions between the major order processing and inventory systems at the company's headquarters and manufacturing site are displayed:
